Pursuant to our financial policy, our schedule of charges is allowed to be updated (with deductions or increments) only once: by January 1st every calendar year; after which no more modifications are allowed to be updated in our published fees schedule, except if the official fees applied by the national governmental authorities are modified within the year. egypt fees
Our fees for Egypt IP services have been slightly increased on January 01, 2024 by around 5-7% for TRADEMARKs & PATENT matters in Egypt, aiming to catch up with the boosting Egyptian inflation rate that hit 32.18% in Dec 2023 Vs 23.50% in Jan 2023 ~ Source: https://www.statista.com/statistics/377354/inflation-rate-in-egypt.
However, a crucial decision has been held by the Egyptian Central Bank on Mar 07, 2024, whereby the Egyptian Pound (EGP) has been floated against all foreign currencies, including USD. Thus, and in response to the floatation decision, Reyada International Egypt has decided to reissue its most updated schedule of charges, with notable reductions to its service charges by flat-fee deductions.

Documents Required (trademarks):
Power of attorney duly signed by the applicant, and legalized up to the Egyptian Consulate at your end. A certified copy of the priority document if claimed (which can be late filed provided that being submitted within three months from the application's filing date in Egypt). Documents Required (Patents): A Power of Attorney legalized up to the Egyptian Consulate. Arabic translation of the patent's specifications (which can be late filed provided that being submitted within six months as of the application's filing date in Egypt). Documents Required (designs): Power of attorney duly signed by the applicant, and legalized up to the Egyptian Consulate at your end. An extract of the entry of the applicant company in the commercial register, or a copy of the certificate of incorporation (to be legalized up to the Egyptian Consulate at you end). just for an applicant company. Documents Required (plant varieties): A Power of Attorney legalized up to the Egyptian Consulate (proposed form enclosed on our home page); Deed of Assignment, duly signed by the assignor (breeder) and the assignee (applicant), and legalized up to the EG consulate, at your kind end; A duly filled in Application Form & Technical Questionnaire (forms shall be furnished upon request); DUS Report for the subject variety (original certified certificates); and If the plant variety had been previously filed/registered in any other country, it would be required to provide scanned copy of the application at that country. |
EMIRATES FEES
Our fees for Emirates IP services are changed for the year: 2024 responding to the new Cabinet Resolution No. 112, of 2023, some official fees are amended and will be effective from January 14, 2024. These amendments are concerning mainly:
- Official fees applicable for Late submission of documents within 90 days from filing
- Official fees applicable for any modification/amendment made after filing the patent/design/utility model application
- Official fees incurred for annuity payment
- Official fees incurred for change of local agent
- Official fees incurred for restoration of application
- Official fees incurred for publication of application
- Accelerated examination can be requested after settlement of first examination fees
- Substantive examination fees are calculated based on number of claims in the application
- Failure to settle the examination fees within the deadline will result in lapse of application and can be restored within 9 months from the expiry date by

Our fees for Jordan IP services are mainly stable for 7 consecutive years: 2016-2023, with a slight 5-7% increment in 2024; responding to inflation & unemployment economic rates in Jordan.
